4- Week Virtual Book Club Voyage & Sweden Summer Adventure July 2027

As a Crew, we will have the extraordinary opportunity to journey through The Open-Air Life with its author, Linda Åkeson McGurk, exploring the philosophy of friluftsliv together through conversation, reflection, and real-life adventure. Rather than simply reading about the Nordic art of open-air living, we will have the chance to experience it together both virtually and on the trails of Sweden where this philosophy has been lived for generations.

This adventure is designed for women striving to live simpler, more sustainable lives deeply connected to nature, those who feel the quiet pull to step outside, slow down, and rediscover the restorative rhythms of the natural world.

  • Ongoing WhatsApp Crew Chat: stay connected, share reflections, encouragement, favorite passages, photos, adventure prepping, and simply voyage alongside one another

  • July 15–21, 2027: In‑person Sweden Summer Adventure

  • Experience friluftsliv firsthand through an epic immersive adventure in Sweden with author and adventure guide Linda Åkeson McGurk

  • 7-day, 6-night all-women’s hiking trip in the Swedish highlands, including hut-to-hut hiking on some of Sweden’s most scenic trails 

This is not just a book club. It is a unique invitation to journey with a Crew through The Open-Air Life with Linda Åkeson McGurk as we explore the philosophy of friluftsliv through intentional conversations and reflection, culminating with an epic immersive adventure in Sweden.

To intentionally create a truly unique and immersive adventure, The Friluftsliv Voyage is limited to just 3 women. By keeping our crew intentionally small, we will create space to slow down, connect deeply, and fully embrace the essence of this adventure together.

We ask for a 25% non-refundable down payment to reserve your spot. When the group size for the trip has been met, we will confirm your spot and send an invoice or payment link. The remaining balance is due no later than 90 days before The Virtual Voyage starts June 1, 2027.
