Adventure Investment: $3,390.00

Join Linda Åkeson McGurk, author of The Open‑Air Life, and Monica Ticknor, founder of Charter Book Club Adventures, for The Friluftsliv Voyage: a literary and experiential journey inspired by the Nordic philosophy of friluftsliv, the art of open-air living.

4- Week Virtual Book Club Voyage & Sweden Summer Adventure July 2027

As a Crew, we will have the extraordinary opportunity to journey through The Open-Air Life with its author, Linda Åkeson McGurk, exploring the philosophy of friluftsliv together through conversation, reflection, and real-life adventure. Rather than simply reading about the Nordic art of open-air living, we will have the chance to experience it together both virtually and on the trails of Sweden where this philosophy has been lived for generations.

This adventure is designed for women striving to live simpler, more sustainable lives deeply connected to nature, those who feel the quiet pull to step outside, slow down, and rediscover the restorative rhythms of the natural world.
